THE CONCEPT
As soon as you drive down the well manicured driveway with palm trees on either side, you know you've arrived somewhere special.
When you walk past donkeys and a couple of cute dogs on the way to reception you'll feel even more excited because the way that they've blended luxury with home comforts is exceptional.
THE SETTING
Beautiful flowers bloom everywhere and even a couple of friendly Donkeys live on the premises.
The decor is exquisite and fascinating for those interested in art, history, culture and antiques. The owner of the Villa collects items from all over the world and you could wonder around the giant dining room all day marveling at his beautiful collection.
THE ROOMS
The rooms all offer complete tranquility and privacy with some featuring four poster beds. All rooms have antique furniture and are tastefully decorated to an extremely high level.
THE ACTIVITIES
Other than enjoying the calming atmosphere and wandering around the dining area in amazement at all the antiques, Sicily is literally at your door step. The Grand villa - dating back to the 19th century is located in a national park reserve along the river ciane where you can take a relaxing boat trip.
THE FOOD
Breakfast is served in the huge, antique decorated dining room where you'll feel like a King or Queen and outside in the beautiful garden, soaking up the morning sunshine to your coffee and the sound of birds chirping all around. The breakfast spread is a true Sicilian feast including freshly baked croissants, local treats such as almonds from Avola, limes from the estates trees, organic spreads made by a farm down the road and traditional Sicilian biscuits.
THE SERVICE
The service is exceptional - Franco, the waiter, has been living in house for more than 5 years, tending to almost everything. Most importantly he creates the beautiful breakfast spread each morning and runs around getting everything you need to make your breakfast experience perfect.
The staff are all individuals working together, but it feels as though they are family and you’ve been sent an invite to enjoy their estate with them.
